Long bio (≈150 words)

Dan Sugralinov is a bestselling LitRPG and science fiction author. Born in Kazakhstan, he spent over a decade building companies before returning to his first love in 2017: storytelling. He gave himself three years to make it as a writer — it took one. Re-Start, the first book of the Level Up trilogy, climbed into Amazon’s fantasy top ten within weeks of release, and Disgardium went on to become one of the genre’s flagship series, now complete at fifteen volumes.

He has written 50+ novels, with 30+ translated into English, German, Czech, Polish and Kazakh — and is a member of SFWA, PEN Kazakhstan and the Union of Writers of Kazakhstan. Before the novels came “The Bricks,” a story read by 3,000,000+ people online; its film adaptation won the Grand Prix at the 41st Moscow International Film Festival. A former competitive gamer — Quake and Mortal Kombat champion with a world #1 World of Warcraft ranking — Dan lives in Florida with his family.
