What we collect

The only personal data this site collects is your email address, and only when you type it into a signup form yourself.

Why we collect it

Your email is used to send you the free story you requested, plus occasional updates from Dan: new releases, launch-day deals, and news about the books. Nothing else.

Who processes it

The site and its mailing list run on Squarespace; emails are sent through Squarespace Email Campaigns, which stores subscriber addresses on our behalf. The site also uses standard Squarespace analytics and a Google Ads conversion tag that counts signups in aggregate — neither is used to identify you personally.

What we never do

We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.

Every email includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you're out — no questions asked.
